Victorian Flatwater Championship Series Leaderboard

Two rounds down and three to go in the SUP VIC / Surfing Victoria Victorian Flat Water SUP Championship Series. The Zu Spirit to the Zu Race was run on Saturday January 21 in windy and choppy conditions, causing a re-think of the course, which was amended to a three lap circuit inside St Kilda Marina breakwater, which provided a little shelter from the 20-25kn winds for at least a portion of the 6km race, but on either end of the course at the turning buoys, it was a full on slog! For results of the Zu Race visit here. * Note, due to current limitations to the Blast system, a competitor cannot appear in two classes (ie. 12’6″ AND Masters), however when you view the leaderboard tally, points have been allocated in BOTH classes. The Series leaderboard is now up for everyone to see, and track their progress on the way to crowning the State Champion in SUP Flatwater. VIEW THE LEADERBOARD HERE. This of course leads to the Surfing Australia State SUP Titles on February 25/26 in Torquay.  With so many exciting events on across the state, it’s a great time to be a paddle surfer! The next race is on Australia Day, Thursday 26th January – The SUP-HQ Port Phillip Cup at St Kilda Marina, Jetty Rd.
