Thats right! SUP Vic is turning 1yr old and to celebrate we are having the first ever SUP Surf Event in Victoria. We can’t forget the flatwater and recreational paddlers that made this season such a success so we will be doing some fun flatwater stuff as well. Teams event, short course and a distance paddle. What a great way to cap off the season!!
Bring your family or friends down to Venus Bay for a weekend away. It’s sure to be plenty of fun.

Just a heads up to everyone that the SHQ Cruise To The Cerebus event that was posponed a couple weeks ago has now been scheduled for Sunday the 7th of March. Please disregard our events calender for these dates as I’m having trouble editing the page. This event is the longest running SUP event in Victoria and should be plenty of fun!
The following Sunday, March 14th will be the final event of the RPS/Starboard Flatwater Series. This will be a test for many to see how their fitness has improved with the duration of the race being 80 minutes. Series winners will be announced and a random person will be the new owner of a Starboard SUP. You must be in it to win it!

The SUP Bus guys down at St Kilda beach have been busy organising ththis summers Port Phillip Cup in what will be its second year. Last years event was a huge success and they have promised bigger and better things. Rumour has it there will be a 3km distance course set between St Kilda and Elwood beaches with a tricky finish under the St Kilda pier.
Mike and Phil are also looking at other SUP events and races to have on the day to boost the fun and excitement. At this stage it looks like a 9:30am kick off that will end with a BBQ, presentation and lots of prize giveaways. The SUP Bus will have all their usually demo & hire boards on hand so why not bring some friends along for a fun day. Stay tuned for more developments. Random prizes will be given away so you don’t have to have any previous SUP experience to win a great prize!!! It will be a great day for the family!
Kite Republic look like they will be have a kite event in the afternoon so why not make a day of it and come down and check out the action!!
